At Santa Laurensia Junior High School, we build upon the strong foundation laid in primary school, fostering deeper inquiry and critical thinking. Our curriculum emphasizes:
- Inquiry-Based Learning: Encouraging students to ask questions, explore ideas, and seek solutions.
- Project-Based Learning: Engaging students in hands-on projects that connect learning to real-world applications.
- Collaboration and Communication: Developing strong teamwork and communication skills. Students are encouraged to explore their interests and develop their talents through a variety 1 of academic and extracurricular activities, including:
- Arts and Music: Cultivating creativity and self-expression.
- Sports and Physical Education: Promoting healthy lifestyles and developing teamwork and leadership skills.
- Community Service: Fostering a sense of social responsibility and civic engagement.
Our goal is to develop well-rounded individuals with the knowledge, skills, and character to thrive in a rapidly changing world.
Santa Laurensia’s teaching method in the Junior High section also implements experiential and experimental programs such as Edmodo, Global Scholars and Out of Eden – Harvard’s Project Zero This approach allows the students to focus more tightly on classroom presentations. Students also have the opportunity to explore and develop talents and interests by engaging in extra-curricular activities, such as sports, music, and other arts. With the aim of building students’ competencies and character, Santa Laurensia is dedicated to developing students’ discipline and integrity that pave the way toward personal morality, social civility, and duty to others.
