2 Gold Medals & 2 Bronze Medals

from the 16th  ICYS in Pszczyna, Poland
 
A week after the gold medal success of Dede Cintya & Evelyn W. Lee at the Int’l Sustainable World [Energy, Engineering, & Environment] Project Olympiad in Houston, Texas, Santa Laurensia Senior High students again did Indonesia proud on the world stage, winnning two gold & two bronze medals in a science and research project competition. The 16th International Conference of Young Scientists (ICYS), held in Pszczyna, Poland from 24th – 29th April, 2009, featured Idelia Chandra, G. Alicia Kosasih, Melissa N. Natasha, Lydia F. Limbri & Allen Michelle from grade 11. ICYS is an individual competition in science and research presented by students under the age of 20 from a variety of countries including: Russia, the United States, the Netherlands, Germany, Croatia, etc., in front of an international jury.
