Since November 2007, LORENZ Baseball team has joined the Jakarta Youth Baseball Association (JYBA) at Jakarta International School (JIS), Pondok Indah. The Machine Pitch Team & Minor Team succeeded to the final round with a great performance and achieved the 1st place for Machine Pitch group and 3rd place for Minor A group.
The JYBA is a JIS’ community sport with more than 500 members which is 
differentiated into 5 groups: T-Ball (age 5-6 years old), Machine Pitch (age 7-8 years old), Minor A (age 9-10 years old), Minor AA (age 11-12 years old), and Major (age 13-14 years old). For Minor AA & Major groups, there are 24-35 children selected from 6-7 JYBA teams which will be selected to All Star and join the South East Asian Youth Baseball & Softball Tournament (SEAYB & ST) where they will meet the others All Star International School from Singapore, Perth, Bangkok, Hong Kong, and Manila. For this year, LORENZ has three outstanding players: Alvin (Gr. 9) and Brian (Gr. 7) who are going to represent in Major Group while Jason (Gr. 5) is going to join the Minor group in SEAYB & ST in Singapore on 24-29 March 2008.
