Learning with Grandpa and Grandma
In November, 2007, our kindergarten children were delightfully surprised to see their “Oma” and “Opa” taki
ng the place of their teachers in a story-telling activity. With eyes-wide open, they listened earnestly to the stories. At the end of the stories they were asked some questions which they enthusiastically answered showing how well they have understood what was related to them. They could even retell the stories in their own words.
Grandma and grandpa were amazed at the ease with which the children interacted with them. And to end the activity, “Oma” and “Opa” distributed some presents which pleased the children even more. In this special occasion, Ibu Mariana Setiadarma (Ray‘s grandma) are pleased to deliver a story about “My Brother Jack” to the students in TK B 3.
