WASPADA FLU BABI
PIG FLU/SWINE INFLUENZA/FLU BABI:
Penyakit influenza dari keluarga Orthomyviradae. Rantai flu ini adalah campuran dari virus babi dengan virus manusia dan burung.
PIG FLU/SWINE INFLUENZA:
Refers to influenza caused by any virus of the family Orthomyxoviridae. This new strain is a mix of pig viruses together with some human and bird viruses.
GEJALA?
Mirip dengan influenza (Influenza Like Illness-ILI) gejala klinis: demam, batuk pilek, lesu, letih, nyeri tenggorokan, napas cepat atau sesak napas, disertai mual, muntah, dan diare.
THE SYMPTOMS?
much like seasonal flu: fever, lethargy, lack of appetite, coughing, runny nose, sore throat, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and short-winded.
PENULARAN:
- melalui udara
- melalui kontak langsung dengan penderita dengan masa inkubasinya 3-5 hari.
HOW DOES THE CURRENT VIRUS SPREAD?
- through coughing/sneezing by infected people
- direct touching of patients who are within the 3-5 days of incubation.
PENCEGAHAN
- menjaga perilaku hidup bersih & sehat
- menutup hidung dan mulut apabila bersin
- mencuci tangan dengan sabun usai beraktivitas
- segera ke dokter apabila mengalami flu
- hindari kontak dengan penderita flu
- hindari menyentuh mata, hidung atau mulut.
Menurut Pusat Penanggulangan Penyakit Menular (CDC), obat Tamiflu dan Relenza sejauh ini terlihat efektif melawan serangan virus flu babi tersebut. Flu dapat menular melalui batuk/bersin dari penderita flu. Jika anda sakit, tetap tinggal di rumah & hindari/kurangi kontak dengan orang lain agar anda tidak menularkannya.

According to CDC (Center for Desease Control), Tamiflu and Relenza medicines are effective against a pig flu virus. Avoid close contact with sick people. Influenza is thought to spread mainly from person-to-person through coughing/sneezing by infected people. If you get sick, CDC recommends that you stay home from work or school & limit contact with others to keep from infecting them. Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth.
